Friday Favorites

Friday Favorites {3/8/19}

Today I am linking up  with Andrea, Narci, and Erika.   Today I am recapping some of my favorites from the week.

Happy Friday friends! It has been a fun week over here, I shared some of my most favorite posts…

Up first, a recap of my kiddos Kid Friendly Lunches and I shared TONS of ideas!

Next up….Share Your…Day in the Lifewhere I shared what a normal Tuesday looks like around these parts.

I am so excited to dive into this book! I love happy mail days!

My kids FAVORITE snack has been a snack board lately, they love it and I love it because it is healthy, everything is pre-chopped for the most part (when I bring home fruit I usually clean it and prep it right then and there).

My FAVORITE snack lately has been a Yoplait Oui yogurt and some almonds.

A student licked a fruit by the foot, then licked the top and then couldn’t get it off the desk…this was NOT a FAVORITE…#onlyinkindergarten

We might have tons of snow right now but the views are a FAVORITE…

This  Pineapple Corer and Peeler is a new FAVORITE kitchen gadget. It is so simple and quick!

And let’s all take a minute to remember Luke Perry…a FAVORITE growing up for sure. I remember my hot pink 90210 folder with Luke on it, and then 8 Seconds. So sad.

I hope you have a great weekend ahead!

  1. So sad over Luke Perry, so sad, such a part of out lives. I love that your kiddos love a good snack board! Happy weekend lovely!

  2. Luke Perry was so young (it’s relative as we get older, but still!). We have so much snow too but hoping a good rainstorm starts to melt it off tomorrow. Only in kindergarten, we should write a book. I have great content for speaking engagements from the classroom – ha!!!

    1. I love teaching and never knowing what is going to happen. Hahaha! It never ceases to surprise me! I love that teaching has given you good content! We should write a book!!!

  3. Oh Luke Perry! I have no clue what they’ll do on riverdale. Fred Andrews was a major favorite. How on earth did that fruit by the foot get stuck like that!? Ew…obviously I couldn’t cut it in a Kindergarten classroom..Y’all are saints, for sure, in my book! Happy weekend!

    1. Hahahahaha! That fruit by the foot was so funny. It took a lot of elbow grease but it came up! Kids are hilarious!

  4. That is a yummy after school snack! I am hungry now. I still need to order that pineapple corer. As for the snow it is beautiful but I am loving the warmer temps we have had this week.

    1. I think we are going to warm up this coming week and I am so excited! You will love the pineapple corer!

  5. I love the idea of a snack board!!! So sorry you had to deal with the desk situation. Ugh!!! I know peanut butter works on gum, would it work for this??? Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

    1. That desk situation was so funny and took some elbow grease. Hahahaha! The snack board was a total hit!

  6. I need to check out the lunch box ideas because I feel like I’m running out of creative things. I was thinking about starting that book but I never read the first one so I’m figuring I should start there. Those views are so pretty! I hope you have a great weekend. Sierra Beautifully Candid

    1. I liked her first book a lot. I thought about re-reading it prior to this book but never did. Thanks for stopping by Sierra!

  7. Oh my goodness! That is a lot of snow! And from one former kindergarten teacher, that fruit by the foot is funny. I always love kindergarten because you just never know what is going to happen! Have a great weekend!

    1. I love that you used to teach kinder! And yes, you just never know what to expect….especially when they raise their hands at an assembly to “ask a question”. Hahahaha!
