Friday Favorites

Friday Favorites {2/8/19}

Today I am linking up  with Andrea, Narci, and Erika.   Today I am recapping some of my favorites from the week.

This has been a fun week. In kindergarten we are learning about fairy tales. We are wrapping up the unit this week and yesterday we made homemade butter during class with heavy whipping cream and made bread (“The Little Red Hen”) and today in class we are making and eating the bread, butter and Stone Soup.

I have found two new FAVORITE teas…I love the vanilla bean macaron.

I also love the Tazo glazed lemon loaf tea. You can buy both here.

Tazo Dessert Inspired Flavored Tea 2 Flavor Variety Bundle, (1) each: Glazed Lemon Loaf and Vanilla Bean Macaron (15 Count)

I have been loving this green oversized cardigan from WalMart, its from Time and Tru. I could not find it online, but found it in the store for under $11.

It was the 100th day of school on Monday and Guy’s teacher texted me this…a FAVORITE…Guy will be the cutest 100 year old ever.

Speaking of the 100th Day, my students came up with some funny answers…

I was able to go to coffee with my bestie Tara, a FAVORTIE! I love this lady.

And my coffee was pretty too!

This nail polish remover is legit! It is so quick and around $2.50. I have to admit, I usually just buy the equate stuff for less than a dollar and stepped out on a limb, this stuff works quick!

I hope you have a great weekend and a very happy Friday!

  1. Those tea flavors sound so yummy! This winter I have been having tea every night and it is usually tazo …but I have never heard of those flavors!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

    1. I know that Target sells the tea as well, but I get mine off of Amazon. I love Tazo Awake too. I drink Sleepy Time each night before bed. I love tea! Have a great weekend!

    1. Thank you so much Holly! I love getting in my girl time. It is so good for the soul to get in time with your friends.

  2. You know I love my tea as well so I am going to have to try those! Guy will make the cutest 100 yr old for sure! I love the little heart on your coffee & hope you have a super sweet weekend!

    1. You will have to try the tea Andrea, I think you will like them! I got mine off of Amazon, but I also know that Target sells them as well.

    1. You should go to a coffee shop, there is something so fun and relaxing about sitting down to a fancy mug of coffee. Have a great weekend Jessica!

  3. I am nearing the brinks of 35, but one of my earliest school memories is making butter in my Kindergarten class and reading The Little Red Hen. I still remember how amazing my teacher was too. Thank you for all you are doing in the lives of children, you are leaving them with roots that some will rememeber well into adulthood! Great post, I enjoyed reading it!

    1. Oh I love that you remember your kindergarten experience. I often wonder if my students will actually remember anything, but I do really hope that they remember all the fun things we do like making butter and stone soup. Thank you so much for sharing with me. That means a lot!

  4. I actually need new nail polish remover, mine just ran out! I love your kindergartener’s answers to what they want 100 of. Some are silly but some are really sweet!

    1. I am always shocked at what comes out of their mouths. Last year I had a little boy say “100 cowboys!”. Hahaha!

  5. I had a friend tell me I had to try that macaroon tea too… I haven’t gotten around to it yet but it’s on my list of things to try.

  6. Thanks for the tip on the nail polish remover! Sounds amazing. That picture of Guy…so funny. Walmart has really been killing it in the clothing dept lately. Have a wonderful weekend!

    1. Tanya, you should check out the nail polish remover. I laughed at the picture of Guy. Walmart has been killing it lately, and I love the stuff they have for home décor too!
