Weekend Recap

Weekend Recap…

Happy Monday! Today I am linking up with Tayna, HeatherJohannah, and Lindsay for their fun weekly link-up, Hello Monday!

Our weekend started on Friday afternoon, Maddi was in the talent show and did a basketball routine to the Cupid Shuffle, it was so cute and she did such a good job!

After school, Brandon and I went to Costco all by ourselves….

On Friday night Maddi had her first basketball game of the tournament. I didn’t take any pictures, they ended up losing the first game. We came home and headed to bed a little early because we had an 8 AM game on Saturday.

It was such a bummer, they ended up losing the second game as well. However, they did end up winning their third game. Maddi even got two fouls.img_2389

Saturday afternoon Brandon and I snuck in a date night…burgers and shakes! My forever date!

Sunday morning looked like a lot of water, rest, and ibuprofen for me.

I rallied for the Super Bowl and we ate appetizers for dinner and I was read during the game.

It was a slow paced weekend. The rest of the month is going to be slow and relaxing which is perfect after the busy January we had. The kids are already looking forward to Friday game night and movie night. I hope you have a great start to your week!

Also, don’t forget to link up with Jen and I on Thursday. Get ready to share all about the people, places, pets, and things you love!

    1. Pier 1 is where I got the mug, recently too! I love it. It is the best time of year to get all cozy and read. We finally got snow!

    1. I was so proud of how well they played and they never gave up. The games were fun to watch because they were so close. I think sports can build so much character!
