7 Layer Dip {An Easy Appetizer}

If you need a crowd pleasing recipe for the big game tomorrow I have you covered. This is one of those “recipes” that is more of an idea or inspiration. Who doesn’t love 7 Layer Dip? We sure do and you better believe it graces our tables during football games. Dips, chips, you don’t need much else, except maybe a Pepsi. Here is how I make 7 Layer Dip…

You will need..


1 15 oz can of refried beans
1 cup of finely shredded taco cheese
1 16 oz container of guacamole (or homemade if you prefer)
1 small can of sliced olives
1 tablespoon of taco seasoning
1 cup of your favorite salsa
1 16 oz container of sour cream
1 tomato, diced
1/2 cup of chopped cilantro

Begin by mixing your refried beans with one tablespoon of taco seasoning.


Spread into a 13×9 inch pan.


To with guacamole and spread.


Top the guac and beans with salsa.


Next, top it all off with the sour cream and spread evenly all over the top.


Next, top with cheese, olives, green onions, cilantro, tomatoes…


7 layers of goodness right there….


7 layers to dunk some tortilla chips into…the perfect appetizer for any party!
