Let’s Look At…The Coziest Spot in My Home

It’s the first Le’ts Look with Erika and Shay and today we are talking about the coziest spot in our homes.

I have three spots in my home that I love and adore for different reasons. The first spot is my favorite chair.

Nothing is better than sitting in my chair and looking out the window while sipping coffee. It is perfect during Christmas and while reading a book or magazine.

Another cozy spot is our love seat. Sipping tea, watching TV with a blanket, doesn’t get much cozier.

Brandon and I sit on this couch every night after the kids go to bed, talk about our day and watch TV. Right now we are watching Parks and Rec.

Another cozy spot is outside of our home. We love our back patio and love wrapping up in blankets and sitting outside.

I think the best ways to add a “cozy” vibe to your home are blankets, hot drinks and candles…

I cannot wait to see everyone else’s cozy spots! Thanks for reading. What do you add to your home to make it immediately more cozy? How do you up the cozy factor?

    1. I am a tea lover! I really want to try the lemon glazed pound cake tea from Tazo. I am keeping my eyes out for it!

  1. I love lighting a candle and sipping coffee during my quiet morning routine. I love your lights on your patio. Some day I would love to add some to our backyard too!

    1. I love the lights and patio too. We spend a lot of time out there. A good morning routine is such a great way to start your day and yours sounds good to me!

  2. You are right – candles and blankets are the perfect way to create coziness. I think I’m going to put out a wax warmer for when I don’t want to burn a candle. I love how you put together all your “mug/coffee” pics for this post. ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Oh I love my wax warmer. I love WalMarts wax melts for $2. The scent lasts and they smell so good. I actually prefer them to scentsy.

    1. That is so funny Dara! We fight over our chair too! I usually have my electric blanket plugged in by the chair and that causes the fight! Hahahaha!

    1. I love them! We took it all down for winter because of the weather but I am dreaming of summer nights outside again!

  3. Your outside space looks fantastic – I’d love to build something similar and add the lighst and hanging baskets like you have. The only downside – I’d want to sit out there with a drink chatting all night – especially if I had weather like yours right now!

    1. I am missing summer weather so much! We took all the lights down for winter and I am dreaming of the summer nights when we can be outside again!

    1. Thank you! It is one of my favorite spots. We are out there in the mornings and afternoons/nights and love it!
