Friday was Brandon and Guy’s (and Brandon’s step-dad’s) birthday! This little boy turned 8! We brought chocolate chip cookies to school for his birthday treat and then he came home and opened his Birthday presents. He was so happy to have a flatbill WSU hat and some strideline socks.
And because the 16th of November is a super fun day, Brandon opened his presents too!
Friday night we headed out to celebrate at a local broiler pit, picked by my men!
We had a super fun night at dinner.
Saturday morning and our alarms were set. We headed to an all day basketball tournament out of town for Maddi. Setting an alarm on a Saturday calls for Starbucks.
This tournament was so fun, they had two games going at all times and it did get a little confusing.
This girl is so quiet and shy until she hits the court. Maddi loves basketball!
Guy loves basketball tournaments because he can run around with his friends all day.
We got home around 6 and then Brandon and I hit the town for a hot date night…at Walmart! But seriously, there is no one else I would rather shop with.
Sunday was a super special day, Brandon got to share about his mission trip at church. He did so good!
After church we loaded up boxes for turkey dinners and then delivered two turkey dinners to families.
And because it’s the week of Thanksgiving, 1 Thessalonians 5:18 is my memory verse for the week, if you would like to memorize it as well.
We have school this week (a half day on Wednesday) and then it’s Thanksgiving! I love Thanksgiving. I hope you had a great weekend! Thank you so much for reading today!
