Chex Mix {As Easy as 4-3-2-1}

This Chex Mix is as easy as counting backwards, because all measurements can be memorized with those numbers! Who doesn’t love Chex Mix? We snuggled in for Hocus Pocus and ate some fresh-out-of-the-oven Chex Mix and for a yummy treat. Here is my recipe.

You will need…

4 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
3 cups of corn chex
3 cups of rice chex
3 cups of wheat chex
3/4 cup of melted butter
2 cups of mini pretzels
2 cups of garlic rye chips
2 cups of cocktail peanuts
2 teaspoons of seasoning salt
1 bag of bagel chips (I like the roasted garlic)
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 teaspoon of onion powder

Preheat oven to 250.

Begin by measuring your Chex cereals, mini pretzels, rye chips, bagel chips and  peanuts together and place in a large roasting pan.

Next, melt the butter, add the seasoning salt, garlic and onion powder and Worcestershire sauce in a small pan over medium heat and stir until everything is combined.

Slowly pour the melted butter mixture over the cereal mixture, stirring until evenly coated.

Bake for 1 hour, stirring well every 15 minutes. Let cool a little (I love mine fresh and warm out of the oven) and enjoy!

  1. We love homemade chex mix! My husband was actually asking for it the other day. We tend to only make it in November and December and I have no idea why! haha
