Meal Planning Sunday #43

Happy Sunday! I hope you have a great day planned. We have church this morning and then plan on a lazy day of watching football. The perfect Sunday! The kids are back into activities and sports and this week is full speed ahead with activities each night after school. We are going to be busy so I kept things pretty simple, yet comforting to feed my people and fill their bellies. Here is a look at what is on our menu this week…

Sunday…

Brandon is grilling burgers for us tonight!

Monday…

Baked Ziti with a Cesar salad and garlic bread.

Tuesday…

I am going to try a new recipe…Chicken Parmesan Slider Bake from Taste of Home. My family loves sliders. I am going to serve garden tomatoes on the side.

Wednesday…

I am going to try another new recipe, Creamy Bacon Spinach Ravioli and serve it with a side salad and some bread sticks. It is from Love Welcome Serve by Amy Hannon.

Thursday…

My Slow Cooker Pulled Pork. We are going to make pulled pork sandwiches for dinner. The slow cooker is my sanity saver year round!

Friday…

Homemade grilled pizza. We have a lot of tomatoes and basil in our garden to top the pizza off with. YUMMY! Perfect end to a busy week.

Again, happy Sunday and thank you so much for reading. What is on your menu this week? Where is your favorite website to turn to for recipes? I love Taste of Home or Pintrest. I also find some good recipes at Pillsbury.com too. Thanks for sharing!

  1. Can I just come eat with y’all? Yum! Those sliders look delish. I made some similar though not with lots of effort a few weeks back when we had some rolls that needed to be used. Working on our menu right now…it’s my least fave thing to do each week because my sweet family just never has any suggestions for me. I bet tonight there will be some bacon wrapped dove on the grill…boys had lots of luck hunting yesterday. 🙂

    1. I hope you had some bacon wrapped dove on the grill! I love when my husband brings back the good stuff from hunting or fishing. I also feel your pain on the lack of suggestions, yet they can always tell me what they don’t want right after I bought it. Hahaha!

  2. I made the chicken Parm sliders and they were a hit. I’m going to try your pulled pork because my husband was requesting this and I am intrigued by the oj and lime!
    Great meal plan!
