Friday Favorites

Friday Favorites {9/7/18}

Today I am linking up  with Andrea, Narci, and Erika.   Today I am recapping some of my favorites from the week.

760f8-friday2bfavoritesI have a hot, random mess of favorites from the week…

Starting with a FAVORITE laundry product. I love adding Mrs. Stewart’s Liquid Bluing to my loads of white laundry. I only add a few drops (a little goes a LONG way). It makes the whites stay vibrant white and helps stop them from turning yellow.

Guy started football practice this week which was a FAVORITE. We love football season.

I love Amy Hannon. I don’t say this lightly, but if you know me, you know my love of Martha Stewart and Amy is RIGHT there. This cookbook is a new FAVORITE. I cannot wait to try out some new recipes. I love how Amy talks about hospitality and how she loves the Lord!

Brandon surprised me with some new kitchen goodies this week. Because not only do I love Martha and Amy, but he knows I love Ree too! How pretty are these measuring cups and pie server….which worked perfectly for serving the chicken pot pie we ate earlier this week.

We had fun in kindergarten this week. We focused on letters and the book Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. I rolled up one letter from the alphabet in each balloon and the kids had to pop the balloons and then work together to put the letters back into alphabetical order. So much fun and such a FAVORITE.

I hope you have a great weekend ahead! We have a little camping trip planned and have a pretty full weekend ahead. Happy Friday friends!

  1. The balloon pop looks so fun!! And LOVE your new kitchen finds form your Mr. and Ree!!! Have a wonderful weekend!!

  2. You are such a fun teacher! I bet they loved it. I have never heard of Amy Hannon but she sounds delightful and if you love her, I know I would too! How sweet of Brandon, I love that collection at Wal-mart, so beautiful!

  3. The liquid bluing… do you use that in place of bleach? I am an over-user of bleach because I want my items as white as possible.

    1. I still use bleach, but I just add a couple of drops (lVERY little) of the bluing and it takes care of the dingy look that bleach can leave sometimes. I love it! It seems to brighten the whites!

  4. I’ve never heard of Liquid Bluing before, but I can guarantee it will earn me a happy husband if it really works! I hate dingy whites – and so does he! Also, I love Pioneer Woman’s kitchen line – I have bowls from the holidays last year, and they’re some of my absolute favorites!
