Happy Wednesday! It is one of my favorite link-ups for the month. I love this fun little recap of what we have been up to this month. I am linking up with Mel, Shay, and Sheaffer  for What’s Up Wednesday!

What we’re eating this week…

You can check out what we are eating here.

We also cannot get enough berries and other fresh produce.

What I’m reminiscing about…

Those first day of school pictures…This was when Maddi was in 2nd grade and Guy was in Preschool.

What I’m loving…

Friday lunch dates with Brandon. During the school year we don’t get to meet up for lunch, unless I forget my lunch and he brings me tacos (because he is the best). During the summer this all of our favorite part of the week!

What we’ve been up to…

So much summer living, gardening, girls night, Disneyland, side walk chalk, golfing. If you need us, you can find us outside.

What I’m dreading…

Absolutely nothing right now.

What I’m working on…

Getting my classroom set up. Here is the before…

What I’m excited about…

Enjoying the next few weeks and slow mornings, days at home with my kids, beach days, mountain time, berry picking, just enjoying the last bit of summer break.

What I’m watching/reading…

Brandon and I are watching….Big Brother and Friends. We also binge watched Longmire while the kids were on their trip.

And I am working my way through my “to read” pile…

What I’m listening to…

One of my favorite podcasts has had some of my favorite ladies on it…

Priscilla Shirer, also Jamie Ivey has had Amy Hannon, Christine Caine AND Brittany Price Brooker. Are you kidding me?!?! So much greatness!

I have also been listening to Country Love on Spotify.

What I’m wearing…

Shorts and t-shirts all day long. It is H-O-T!

What I’m doing this weekend…

Hanging with my three favorite people. We are going to have some good family time.

What I’m looking forward to next month…

The brand new school year. New pencils, crayons, glue. I love the beginning of the school year.

  1. I am jealous of your mountain time and beach days! Anything would be better than the 100+ plus days we have had. It is so hot that we don’t want to even swim! I really need to check out the pod cast! Have a great Wednesday!!

  2. You ate lunch at Costco! Have you tried their churros for $1? I’m a Spanish teacher and they are good! I once had a student’s parent bring in 30warm churros for their class!
    Great round up for WUW!

    1. We love their churros. I love that a parent did that for your class. How did I not know you were a teacher too until this week?!?!

  3. Hey YOU! Oh my gosh your summer has been pretty freaking amazing. Guess what Podcast I listened to for the FIRST time yesterday – Jamie Ivey!!! It was the one with Priscilla Shirer and I was HOOKED (I knew Shirer but not Ivey!) I will be listening weekly now! That first picture – please frame it – it’s gorgeous of the kids and their dad. Enjoy the remnants of break. xo

    1. Oh I love that episode with Priscilla. Priscilla is one of my favorite women in ministry. Have you heard the interview with Christine Cain? Go back a few weeks and listen to that one, she is amazing too. I am trying to soak in every single bit of summer!
