What's Up Wednesday

WUW: June 2018

Happy Wednesday! It is one of my favorite link-ups for the month. I love this fun little recap of what we have been up to this month. I am linking up with Mel, Shay, and Sheaffer  for What’s Up Wednesday!

What we’re eating this week…

Sunday we grilled some pizzas.

Monday we had chef salads
Tuesday we had taco salads
Wednesday…we are having mini meatloafs and mashed potatoes
Thursday…sub sandwiches
Friday…Pizza night

What I’m reminiscing about…

What it used to be like to have babies. I am LOVING the stage my kids are in. No more diaper bags, working around nap times, bottles…we just get to go now.

What I’m loving…

Our back patio area. We have been spending every spare minute outside.

What we’ve been up too…

Lot’s of summer fun…golfing, movies, going to the pool, more golfing, yard work, weed pulling, Maddi had basketball camp. So much summer fun.

What I’m dreading…

Not a single thing.

What I’m working on…

Getting in a daily nap! 🙂

What I’m excited about…

Big Brother starts tonight!

My favorite tv show. Im excited. Gonna be all summer long.

I am going to Bunco tomorrow night! So much good stuff.

What I’m watching/reading…

The Bachelorette, Big Brother, Souther Charm…

And reading…

Everybody, Always: Becoming Love in a World Full of Setbacks and Difficult People

What I’m listening to…

I cannot get enough Thomas Rhett or any country music for that matter…

Thomas Rhett "It Goes Like This" lyrics. I put text on this photo with an app called Over #madewithOver #thomasrhett

What I’m wearing…

You can check it out here on my Pin-It/Spin-It June 2018.

What I’m doing this weekend…

I am not sure yet…a date night, golfing and  I think some fishing…

What I’m looking forward to next month…

The 4th of July! Also, the kids have a fun week planned for “Cousin Camp” this year, Brandon has a week off, more summer fun!

Happy Wednesday!

  1. It sounds like you’re having a wonderful summer. It’s so funny to think back to when the kids were little and required a lot of work to go or do anything. It’s a lot easier these days!

    1. They required so much work to go out and do stuff. I do miss the snuggles and the rocking but I do like just being able to go now!

    1. I love Bunco. I used to play monthly as well but am happy now to sub whenever they need me. I love that game!

  2. Hi — Natasha here from Here’s The Scoop. Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. I have Everybody Always on my TBR and I’d love to just come hang out in your backyard and read it. What a lovely spot!

And seeing your “what we’re eating” reminds me to add homemade subs to our menu plan. Thanks!

I love listening to the Jays playing in Seattle because so many Jays fans make the trip across the border. It’s on my list to get to a Jays game in Seattle some year 🙂

  3. Your back yard is so pretty! I love Southern Charm and The Bachelorette is getting more exciting. I watch Big Brother with one teen son that likes it.
