This weekend was one of my favorite weekends ever. We had so much fun.
Friday night we met some friends at the driving range and hit some balls.
We also had my cousin’s graduation party. Brad is graduating High School…which I can’t believe because he was our ring bearer for our wedding 13 years ago…there is no way he is graduating. After the party we came home and lit the tiki torches and sat in the back yard and listened to the Mariners game on the radio. Summer nights are the best.
Saturday morning came a little early with Pop Tarts in the back seat to take a drive up to grandma Nana’s. The kids stayed with Brandon’s parents this weekend…they earned some money for their trip to Disneyland this summer.
While the kids were away Brandon and I got in 18 holes of golf. We had SOOOO much fun.
It was a really laid back course, the weather was perfect, it was the best way to spend the morning/early afternoon.
And what goes with golf? Mexican food! We have always stopped for Mexican food after golf.
We did a little shopping, came home and watched Married at First Sight, and then sat in the backyard listening to the Mariners game and talking. It was perfection. We stayed up until 11 PM just visiting and relaxing.
Sunday morning we went to church and had no kids to drop off at Sunday School…weird feeling.
After church we picked the kids up, had a BBQ with Brandon’s parents, aunt, and grandpa. This was the ride home for the kids…
It was a great weekend! I hope you had a great one too!
