Weekend Recap

Weekend Recap…Baseball and Birthday

Happy Monday! Today I am linking with HeatherJohannah, and Lindsay for their fun weekly link-up, Hello Monday!

This weekend was a sweet little weekend. On Friday we fed Harold and Maddi led him around for a little bit, we watched Family Matters, ate nachos and we were all in bed around 9. Saturday morning started with snuggles in my bed.

Guy had baseball practice. Brandon is not helping coach this year so he gets to sit and watch practice which has been a lot of fun.

Next up, we all ventured up to Home Depot to pick out paint for our Birthday Girl! Instead of a party with her friends she decided she wanted to re-do her bedroom and make it a “tween room”. I mean, where did my little girl go?!?!

Brandon and I headed out for date night, and by date night I mean grocery shopping and we had to swing back into Home Depot for another gallon of primer.

We got home just in time to watch Gonzaga advance to the Sweet 16!

Sunday was Maddi’s 10th Birthday. We started the day with cinnamon rolls and church.

We painted more of her room, fertilized the yard, and had spaghetti for dinner (her request).

It was a sweet little weekend with our family of four. I hope you have a great Monday and as always, thank you for reading!

  1. Happy birthday to your sweet girl! I just love that she chose redoing her room over a party. And basketball was crazy this weekend wasn’t it? So many upsets and it’s just so fun to see history being made for some of these schools.

    1. I love that she chose that as well. She did a great job of picking out colors. I can’t believe how she wants no more little kid things at all. Basketball was so much fun to watch this weekend!

  2. Aww I hope she had a great birthday! I didn’t even realize that Family Matters was on t.v. still- we will definitely need to check that out with my 2 kiddos! Hope you are having a great end to the school year- summer is so close!

    1. Thank you Allie! We have been watching it off of Hulu. Another show that is on Hulu is Home Improvement and Step by Step. My kids are LOVING the throwbacks! I can’t believe how close summer is! Have you had your spring break yet? Ours is not for a couple more weeks.

    1. We have loved putting it together! She did a good job of picking out colors. I’m excited to see it all come together.
