Let’s take a look at February’s Goals….

  • Paint trim white and white wash a wall. This did not happen…I didn’t even think about it!
  • Wipe down bathroom cupboard. 
  • Make Valentines  We had over 60 Valentines to make…we made slime for over 60 kids and it was a big hit. I also made tags that said “SLIME-body Loves You!”
  • Walk/run 50 miles or more.  I ran at least 3 times per week (at a minimum) and walked several times! I think this will be my goal each month.
  • Post a new recipe each week. I did not post a single recipe in February. But I did just post Nutella Crispies this weekend.
  • Memorize a new Bible verse each week. This will also be a goal that I continue all year long.

Drink 100 ounces of water each day. I love water but I have been slacking and I can tell!

Rest intentionally…This one is huge and hard for me. In a world where “going” is popular, I want to slow down and rest. One day at home to rest and recharge…even if it includes yard work on a Sunday. I think it is so important to be together as a family and rest. Resting is hard for me so this goal might be a challenge.

Random acts of kindness and serving with my kids…I am so excited for this one. I have no idea what we are going to do but I would love to get my whole family involved.

Paint! Paint! Paint! I love having a paintbrush in my hands. There is something so refreshing and renewing about new paint!

Plan Spring Break. We have no big plans but we do have some plans. I want to have a good balance of fun and relaxing.

Look into a photography class or a blogging class. Any suggestions on this? Any good blogging podcasts?

    1. It can be so hard to find time to rest. I have the bad habit of feeling like I need to do it all and do it all now and well. I need to work on that big time especially as the end of the school year draws near. I hope you have a great weekend with your family!
