Weekend Recap

Weekend Recap…

Happy Monday! Today I am linking with HeatherJohannah, and Lindsay for their fun weekly link-up, Hello Monday!

This weekend started on Friday with pajama day! We were all really excited for this day. What does a teacher wear on pajama day? Well I wore leggings and an oversized t-shirt from Frankie Jos.

Since it was Read Across America Week we were also visited by a real author and publisher. The kids loved being read the story at an assembly.

When we got home the weather was perfect so Guy spent his time outside riding his bike.

Maddi was inside making pottery.

That night we fed Harold, ordered pizza and watched the Emoji movie together. It was the perfect way to end the day and I was in bed by 9 PM.

Saturday morning I woke up bright and early and scrubbed my refrigerator.

Brandon and I went grocery shopping and then we went to my parents house to feed Harold. Guy and I enjoyed the sunshine while Maddi and Brandon cleaned out Harold’s pen. I made a big mud puddle for the boy to ride his bike through and you would have thought it was Christmas.

Maddi led Harold around for a bit and then tied him up and brushed him. He is getting so big and eating SO much! Our county fair is about two months away.

We also went to the carwash! I love having a clean car inside and outside.

Sunday was for church and yard work.

I also meal prepped a little bit.

We ended the night with a game of Memory (Brandon beat us all BAD!) and some Family Matters.

I hope you had a great weekend. I hope it was restful and full of family and fun. I also hope that you have a great week ahead. Enjoy your Monday!

    1. I love cleaning mine as well. It always feels so good and it’s one of those kitchen cleaning chores that doesn’t take too long but makes a big impact! Have a great week!

    1. A clean fridge is one of the best things to me! I love when I open the door and it is organized and sparkly….for the five minutes it lasts….Hahaha!
