This week was a week full of love…my very first FAVORITE was being baptized on Sunday! What a way to kick off the week of love!
Guy made me my FAVORITE Valentine…he had made me a card after I tucked him into bed and when I woke him up on Wednesday morning he gave me the card which was hidden under his pillow. So sweet.
A FAVORITE game we played in kindergarten was hiding 100 Hershey Kisses around our classroom. The kids had to find them and then cross them off a 100’s chart as they found them. The kids loved this activity. I am thinking of doing something similar with sight words as well.
Brandon got me a beautiful bouquet of roses this week…another FAVORITE!
A FAVORITE book from the week was Love Monster.
Bath and Body Works have my FAVORITE sheet masks. This one is great!
I want to wrap this post up with something that has been heavy on my heart. I teach kindergarten and after Wednesday’s shooting in Florida my students went home and watched the news. They came to school on Thursday scared and sad. We had a HARD conversation in class that day but we talked about the importance of loving everyone. We came up with this anchor chart to talk about what love is and talked about the different ways we can love people. My prayers are with Marjory Stoneman Douglas High. The victims, the victim’s families, students and staff as well as the community. “Let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with me”.
Have a happy weekend and hug your loved ones!
