Small Faith

Faith has been a word that has been floating around in my heart. Faith, sometimes we cling to it, sometimes we give up on it, sometimes we don’t have it at all. Faith is what keeps us moving forward.

"Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed at that moment. Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, “Why couldn’t we drive it out?” He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” - Matthew 17:20

Faith, as small as a mustard seed. Such a small seed, but such a great God! I don’t know what kinds of trials and tribulations you might be going through. The truth is, no one really does. Cling to faith, choose to have hope. Without faith and hope we can’t move forward.

Even when you are at your darkest, or even when you are going through your lowest valley hold tight to faith. Even if it’s a small amount of faith cling to it and know that God hears you. He hears you the first time you pray, he hears you the 99th time you pray. He hears you. God loves you.

Have faith that good things are coming your way. Maybe those good things are not going to come to you the way you would like or foresee, but have faith, they will be coming. Pray and then live like your prayers have been answered. That is faith.

I hope you have a great Wednesday friends. Cling to faith! Don’t be afraid to ask God for anything!

    1. Thank you Britt! It’s so funny how a little word can just bring out some big feelings. I have been praying over this word all day long.
