What I’m reminiscing about…

Thanksgiving! It is one of my most favorite days of the entire year! I love hosting. We have a lot of people over and it is always loud and fun!

What I’m loving…

The sunshine. We have been having rain and more rain is forecasted, but I have enjoyed this fall for all the sunshine we have gotten and beautiful weather.

I have also been loving this little pot of Vaseline Lip Therapy. It is wonderful for chapped lips and keeping them nice and soft.

What we’ve been up to…

Lots of fun things…November has been a full month, hence the radio silence on this little space…

Maddi got her steer Harold so we have been busy taking care of him. He is her 4-H market steer

Maddi also started AAU Basketball. So we have been busy with that.

And we celebrated these two men’s Birthday on the 16th!

What I’m dreading…

Nothing at all! I love this time of year, it really is the most wonderful time of year. Now, I do say that light heartedly, because this time of year also brings up a lot of emotions as well. I miss my grandparents and other family and friends who are no longer with us, but I try really hard to make this time of year fun and memory filled, just like my grandma would like. So while I am not dreading anything, my heart goes out to all of you who are also feeling sad, drained, stressed out, and more.

What I’m excited about…

The whole Christmas season…

Walking through the Christmas park…

Christmas parades in our small town.

Visits from Santa Claus

Riding around in our car looking at Christmas lights.

I love this whole season!
What I’m watching/reading…

Every fall and winter I want to start Gilmore Girls over…so that is what I have been watching.

What I’m listening too…

Taylor Swift’s new album is on repeat.

I also love this song.

I also started listening to Traditional Christmas on Pandora

What I’m wearing…

What I’m doing this weekend…

We are decking our halls!

What I’m looking forward to next month…

Everything! The lights, the sounds, the traditions, the food, the family, the friends, celebrating Jesus’s birth, I love this time of year.

What else is new…

My Zuppa Toscana {Slow Cooker}

Favorite thing to do with the elf…

  2. So much fun Jenna! I love that you host Thanksgiving. That is a tradition I am REALLY hoping to take over soon. Russ’ parents have done it for so long, but I feel like it’s time for a change. Not sure if his mom would agree or not, lol!
