Making a Home Cozy

Oh fall, the days get shorter, the weather gets colder (we are hitting the 50’s this week and 30’s at night), the leaves start changing and falling, the drinks get hotter, and it makes me want to curl up in my cozy house. Today I am linking with Shay and Erika for their fun monthly link-up…Workin’ it Wednesday, and talking about how I keep my home cozy.

I think one of my favorite ways to make a home feel instantly cozy is to light a candle. I love Bath and Body Works candles and I especially love their fall scents.

Speaking of scents, I love my wax warmer as well.

When having a cozy house, blankets are a must. I love getting blankets from Costco, they last for years and wash really well. I also like hanging them on an old wooden ladder.

Comfy clothes are also a must for lounging around the house.

A warm drink, a blanket, and a magazine are also a great way to stay extra cozy.

Soups make everything cozy…

Taco Soup

Slow Cooker Loaded Baked Potato Soup

And a yummy dessert…

Pumpkin Dream Bars

Oatmeal Scotchies {Butterscotch Oatmeal Cookies}

What are your favorite ways to make your home extra cozy this time of year?
