Friday Favorites

Friday Favorites {10/6/17}

46589-friday2bfavorites2b01 Today I am linking up with Narci, Andrea and Erika to share my favorites from the week. Sweet Friday, we have been waiting for you! This week was so good, but busy and Thursday was a big day at school. We had our Fund Run which is one of my favorite days of the year. It is a BIG and exciting day so I am a little wore out from all the fun. The support our community shows for our school is my FAVORITE favorite of the week!

Fall is not only one of my FAVORITE times of the year, but it is also one of my FAVORITE times to be a teacher. I love all the fall fun…this week was apple week. We made our own applesauce. My classroom smelled amazing…which is a bonus FAVORITE. Chop the apples really small and then just add a little water and you can mash it down or leave it chunky.

This week I shared our Home Sweet Home…Fall Home Tour.

This tea towel from Anthropology is a FAVORTIE.

I also love these funky glittery pumpkins from WalMart for less than a dollar a piece.

Speaking of WalMart, this lantern can be found there for $14! I love these and filling them with seasonal things. I see Christmas ornaments and a string of lights coming up next. This lantern is a new FAVORITE.

Caramels are one of my FAVORITE treats to have this time of year…or anytime of year.

Playing games in the afternoon is also a FAVORITE way we spend time. I love Guess Who?

I hope you had a wonderful week and have some fun things to look forward to this weekend. With all that is heavy and wrong in the world, I hope you can find a little something to give you joy, but also I hope you are able to give a little joy as well. Happy Friday friends!

  1. What an AMAZING total from the event. I saw that on Facebook last night and wondered what it was. SO cool friend. I hope you have a great Friday and a little bit of down time this weekend to catch your breath.

    1. Oh I LOVE Connect 4. We play that a lot in my classroom. I cannot believe how good my kindergarten students get at that game. I hope you have a wonderful weekend with your sweet family!

  2. Guess Who was a favorite of my boys and is now a favorite in my classroom! I love the lantern decorating idea! I’m going to head to Walmart this weekend to find it! Thanks for the tip!

    1. Guess Who is always so much fun. I picked this game up last year at Target and for my kids at Christmas. I hope you find the lantern. They also had them in the metal too! It was super cute!

    1. I wish I could teach your boy! The money all goes back to the school…new playground equipment, to teachers, new cafeteria trays, whatever we need. I love that it is our only fundraiser and it goes 100% back to the school!
