Weekend Recap

Weekend Recap…Kickin’ Off Fall

Happy Monday! Today I am linking with two of my favorites, Johannah and Heather.

This weekend was fun and full. On Friday night Maddi was at a sleep over so we had a quiet family night. We went grocery shopping, picked up pizza, and watched Mighty Ducks. It was a perfect night and we were all in bed around 8. Wild night!

Saturday morning was nice and slow. Brandon worked and Guy and I snuggled up with coffee, blankets, and cartoons before his football game. After football we started a fun new adventure. We worked on a steer pen for Maddi and eventually Guy.

We are putting up a new wall so the steer doesn’t tear up the power to my dad’s shop, and we also moved fence paneling into place. It was a productive afternoon.

We rushed home after working on the pen, washed up, and headed to my aunts house for a big family game night. The kids all played Speak Out and the adults played 20 Questions. I am always so grateful for nights like this. Quality time with family is always the best.

Sunday was spent watching The Office decorating for fall.

It was a fun and fulfilling weekend with lots of family time. This week should be a little slower than last week and for that we are all grateful. We had something every afternoon and night last week and we are looking forward to a less busy week ahead. What are your plans for the week ahead?

    1. Your girls would love it and this was a kids version. They were all laughing so hard and it was fun to watch them play! Happy Monday!

    1. Guy loved it! We also watched Cool Runnings which he also loved. I love introducing my kids to my old favorites. Brayden would love it!

    1. It is such a fun game. It is a board game and you break into teams. You get 20 clues as to what the topic or word is (a person, place, or thing) and then you have to guess. It is a lot of fun but not very popular. My aunt ordered her’s off of Amazon recently.

    1. Blank check is such a good one! I also love Richie Rich. I wish I could find the original TMNT or Ghost Busters. I also think Guy and Maddi would like the Back to the Future movies too.
