Happy Friday! Today I am linking up with Narci, Andrea and Erika .

Today’s first FAVORITE is Fall is officially here. Welcome Fall, we have been waiting for you. Cozy blankets, chilly air, soups and stews, family time, night falling earlier, colorful leaves, the anticipation of the holidays, pumpkins, apples, and so much more!

Maddi is learning to play the recorder this year in music and it is a FAVORITE…sometimes… But really, she is doing great. God bless music teachers!

This is a FAVORITE moment I captured last weekend at Guy’s first football game. I love this picture and I love Guy’s smile on his face.

We just wrapped up our first theme in kindergarten (The 5 Senses). One of my FAVORITE lessons is the taste test. We taste salty, sweet, sour, and bitter. The kids think they are getting some sweet chocolate, when in reality it is unsweetened chocolate for bitter. Their reactions are a FAVORITE of mine all year!

Check out this meal planner and grocery list. These are a new FAVORITE. My bestie Tara found this super cute site and Facebook with really cute free printables…go check out Hadley Designs.

And this was my FAVORITE Instagram meme this week…but for reals!

I love throwing in a small sweet treat for my kids in their lunches and these candy corn M&M’s are Maddi and Guy’s FAVORITE. They love them, so if you are looking for a fun and festive treat for your kiddos, pick yourself up a bag.

Also, one of my FAVORITE posts from the week was our bucket list.

And because it is the first day of fall, I thought I would share one of my FAVORITE throw back photos of my girl celebrating! We LOVE Fall!

Happy Friday! Hope your weekend is great!

  1. Love everything about this post. I love the taste test you do with your kids. I have a vivid memory of a bad moment with butter milk during the farm unit when I was in kindergarten. Let’s just say I have never liked buttermilk after that LOL! Yay for fall, I am with you on that. xoxo ERIN

    1. Oh I can’t even imagine what they did with the buttermilk. AHHHH! The taste test is really funny but also good because how do you describe bitter to a 5 year old without letting them experience it for themselves! 🙂 Lucky for them, they got marshmallows for sweet right after 🙂

  2. That grocery shopping printable is So fun. I could totally go for that and color code things for different stores. Oh the possibilities. My girls have been BEGGING me to grab some of the Pumpkin Spice M&M’s I haven’t done it yet though. I think I would loose all control. Happy weekend!

    1. I am kind of anxious to try the pumpkin spice M&M’s. I think I am picking a bag up this weekend. I am sure my kiddos will like them. Somehow they have picked up on my all things seasonal obsession!

  4. I feel ya on the recorder! My daughter did it last year and sometimes her siblings did not enjoy her practicing…lol. Those meal planning worksheets look great. I love planning our meals in advance.
