Meal Planning Sunday

Meal Planning Sunday #33

Meal Planning

Happy Sunday everyone! Today has been a glorious Sunday full of time at home and organizing, laundry, meal prepping, and taking it easy. Rain is coming this week and so are chilly temperatures. We are craving comfort food around here and this week seems to be the perfect time to indulge a little…

Sunday

Twice baked potatoes and a big side salad.

Monday

One of our favorite meals (I cooked the chicken on Sunday)…Six Sisters Pesto Chicken Pasta Bake

Pesto Chicken Pasta Bake

Tuesday

Brinner…or breakfast for dinner. Bacon, eggs, pancakes, sausage.

Wednesday

Soup….I have seen this day is supposed to be in the 50’s! I have a crock pot soup that I will share with you all soon…heads up, it is a copy cat recipe of a popular soup from the Olive Garden…and it’s pretty healthy and super hearty.

Thursday

The Pioneer Woman’s Quick Shells and Cheese and Bacon and Peas is an easy weeknight dinner that I can whip up and serve quickly after football practice. This is really yummy with a side salad or some roasted veggies.

Quick Shells & Cheese

Friday

PIZZA NIGHT!

Saturday

Buffalo Chicken Salads and a veggie bar. This is really easy to prepare for football days. We just kind of eat whenever we want, but everything is available and ready to go. The kids like making their own salads. It is a perfect Saturday dinner when I want something easy that we can all eat together (or whenever) while watching football.

Snacks/Dessert

Pumpkin Bars.

What is on your menu this week? Are you ready for some comfort food? Rainy, cool weather makes me ready!

  1. Just recently found your blog and really enjoy reading! How do you make your Buffalo salads and what all do you put out? I think my kids would love this idea… they are a bit picky though. 🙂 Have a great day!

    1. Thank you so much Christy! I just toss chicken in Franks Hot Sauce. Super easy and it is not breaded which I like. Sometimes I will cut the chicken into chunks, bread the chicken and dunk it in the Franks after cooking. Super easy, and super yummy! We do lettuce, carrots, celery, cucumbers, and then add blue cheese crumbles with your favorite dressing. My kids like ranch but I love blue cheese.
