Peanut butter and chocolate just go together. I have an easy cookie recipe for you today and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
For the cookies, you will need:
1 cup of softened butter
1 cup of white sugar
1 cup of brown sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1 heaping cup of crunchy peanut butter
1 teaspoon of soda
3 cups of flour
Preheat your oven to 350.
Begin by creaming together the sugars and the butter.
Next, add eggs, vanilla, and the heaping cup of peanut butter.
Mix all wet ingredients together and then add in flour and baking soda.
Mix until all ingredients are combined and then add the chocolate chips.
Once all ingredients are mixed together, make 1″ scoops of cookie dough. I flatten mine a little with a fork, making a checkerboard pattern. My grandma did this, so I do it too. It wouldn’t be a peanut butter cookie without the fork indents.
Bake cookies for 8 to 10 minutes at 350.
I can’t help but eating one of these cookies warm. Enjoy!
