Friday Favorites

Friday Favorites…Basketball Camp

Happy Friday! I hope you have all had a great week. I am linking with Erika, Andrea, and Narci and listing my favorites from the week.

This week the kids were busy with basketball camp and they loved every second. I found it weird to be kidless for 2.5 hours a day. But a nice kind of weird. Basketball camp was their FAVORITE activity from the week.

I ordered these masks. I cannot wait to try them. They were really affordable, 11 masks for $13, a new FAVORITE.

I also snagged these cookies from Costco, they are our FAVORITE little treat. Not only are they good, but low-cal as well. I like to have three in the afternoon as a little snack.

This meme is so true and a FAVORITE. I do know how to bust a move in my car. Hahaha!

And this meme was too funny too. Thank goodness my own kids remind me that my name is “Mom, mom, mom, mom”.

Another FAVORITE moment came from this week. I was able to sit down and read for an hour (uninterrupted) while I got my oil changed.

I also shared my FAVORITE Touches of Red, White and Blue this week.

I hope you all have a wonderful Friday and a wonderful weekend! What are your plans for the upcoming weekend? We have a lot of family time planned!

  1. That push it meme, lololol so funny. I am excited to see you found those cookies at Costco, I’ll have to check Sams. I always hear about the ones people get at TJ’s but that is a good 2 hours away from us. Have an amazing weekend friend!

    1. I have never been to a TJ’s. our closest one is over 2 hours away as well and I just have never been. I hope you can find them at Sams because they are so yummy and will last a long time. My kids love them with their lunches too. I hope you had a great weekend with your family!

    1. They loved it! They would come home eat a huge lunch and then lay on the couch each day for an hour but they loved it. They were sad when it was over but I think they are happy they don’t have to get up early in the morning 🙂

  2. Reading, uninterrupted is like heaven! I’m so glad you got to do that. I love your 4th decorations and I want those cookie thins now! I’m actually having a cup of coffee and I want them as I love lemon so much! I hope you, beautiful lady and your sweet family have a most wonderful weekend!

    1. I love the cookie thins. They are SO good. And the reading time was heaven! No one was there, it was nice and cool and it was so quiet. I loved every second! I hope you had a great weekend!

  3. OMG- I’m still in teacher mode at the swimming pool, “You guys, the bell is going to ring in 4 minutes, I mean the pool’s closing in 4 minutes, so get everything cleaned up!” Agh! Ok I have a really random question that I thought about last night, and since you teach kinder, I thought you may have an opinion. Is my soon to be kindergartner too old to be watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse? It’s not the only thing she ever watches, but she definitely loves it. Do kindergartners still watch this or is it time to push her to something older? Thoughts please! Have a great weekend!

    1. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is completely normal for them to still be watching. I would let her keep on watching and not worry about it! Teacher mode is still so strong…I don’t know if I ever truly turn it off! Hahahaha!

  4. Those lemon cookie thins look so yummy! I’m pretty sure I’d eat the whole box in one sitting. And an hour of uninterrupted reading time?! Woah. My oldest had basketball camp not too long ago and he loved it! Had the best time. Hope you guys have an awesome weekend!

    1. Basketball camp was so much fun. They loved it. They came home completely wiped out but enjoyed it. The cookies are SO good. If you can find the, get them! I hope you had a great weekend.

    1. That meme made me laugh too. My kids get to see a whole new side of me when certain songs come on! Lemon is one of my favorite dessert flavors too. These are so yummy, if you can get your hands on them get them!

  5. Do tell….the one page had me laughing what might you be reading? 🙂

    1. Oh it was a GREAT book Shelly. It was by Brittany Cherry and called “The Air He Breathes”. I HIGHLY recommend any book by her. I have read two of her books now and could not put either of them down.

  6. I love a little reading time. I am hoping to do a bit of that this weekend in between birthday parties for our TWO year old – hold me now! I need to try a mask, I haven’t yet – why???? xoxo ERIN
