Happy Monday! Today I am linking with Johannah and Heather and recaping our weekend. It was such a fun weekend. Also, before I begin, I hope all of you Mama’s had a Happy Mother’s Day yesterday. Or, that you were able to celebrate your mama in some way.
Friday afternoon started with a run. It was a short 2.5 miler that I did intervals during. I ran for one minute, walked for another minute. I did not want to go and had one million great excuses not to go but I sucked up and went and was so happy I did.
Next was baseball pictures.
And after baseball pictures we took the kids for a burger and fries. After kindergarten screening, I was exhausted and this was the perfect way to NOT have dishes to do and I could ignore that pile of house work that I needed to do :).
Saturday morning started bright and early with a baseball game at 9 but we had to be to the field at 8:30 for warm-ups. It was Guy’s snack day so donuts and Sunny-D was the perfect treat after the game for all those hungry boys.
Saturday was spent doing laundry, cleaning the house, and then we went grocery shopping on Saturday night. Did you know that pretty much all the stores are empty on a Saturday around 6. After shopping Maddi and Guy wasted a dollar on a game of their choice. But hey, they thought it was fun so it was worth it.
After brunch (it was around 2:00 when we left) we came home and I put on some comfy clothes and watched all the Netflix. And because we had ate so much at lunch, we had popcorn for dinner. #keepinitclassy.
I hope you had a great weekend. This week is a doozey. I think I have meetings pretty much every single day this week, Guy has baseball, and Brandon will be farming when the weather clears up (it is supposed to rain until Wednesday). Also, can you believe that some people around our area got SNOW this weekend? It dropped over 30 degrees in one day. Crazy. Hopefully after this next round of rain and 50’s the sun is here to stay.
