Friday Favorites

Friday Favorites {5/5/17}

May came in with a great start. We had so much fun this week. It was also a pretty relaxing week after work. May has been oh so good! Today I am linking with Andrea, Erika, and Narci to share my favorites from the week.

I got most of my garden planted. The important things are in the ground, tomatoes, zucchini, squash, and more tomatoes. This weekend I am going to plant my cucumbers and peppers.

I am pretty sure everyone uses Downy Unstoppables, and if you don’t you should. They make your laundry smell SO good. I usually use the blue top original scent but last month I picked this kind up from Costco and this month is on sale. I love it!

The Book Fair was this week and we bought a couple of new books for summer. The best part of this Book Fair is that it is BOGO (Buy One Get One Free).

I picked up this mask from WalMart for $1.37 and loved it. It took about 15 minutes and left my face feeling tight and clean.

Brandon and I had a mini date night last night. We went for Mexican food and it was so yummy. It was also 90 degrees yesterday and sunny. Talk about amazing weather! Today it is supposed to be 57 and rainy, but starting Sunday more amazing weather without rain.

We had a great week. We have a busy weekend ahead with baseball, a soccer party, a girls night, and more. I hope you had a great week!

  1. So I LOVE those Downy Unstoppables. I think I’ve used just about every scent. I’m currently using downy infusions (lavender serenity), and it smells good too!! 🙂 Happy friday. Enjoy the weekend with your fam bam!

  2. I have tried Downy unstoppables before but I need to get that one next time I go to Costco. So jealous of your warm weather. Our weather has been crappy here in Texas, so cold that I had to pull out long sleeve shirts again! Yea for a date night!!! I hope we can sneak one in this weekend. Have a great Friday!

    1. Date nights are always a favorite and something I wish we had more time for! This one was perfect! Our weather has been all over the place but I think 70’s and sun! Nice weather is on the way! I love the big Costco size for the unstoppables 🙂

  3. Mini date night looks good on you beautiful and your garden is looking great! It will be so wonderful to reap the bounty. Yes to the book Fair, I love seeing all those books in their sweet little hands! Happy weekend gorgeous!

    1. I am so excited about my garden and hope the nice weather is here to stay. Friday was a little nutso but all the plants made it. It just needs to get, and stay, sunny! Hope you had a wonderful weekend!

  4. We are planting our garden this weekend – take 2! The cold snap (although no frost) took our cucumbers :(. 90 degrees yesterday? The good weather has finally come here and it looks like it is going to stay as well. Yay for date night 🙂 Happy Cinco De Mayo! xoxo ERIN

    1. Date nights are always a favorite. Bummer about your first round of cucumbers, but I am glad you were able to get some more planted. We had 90’s and then 50’s the next day. It has been such a weird year for weather! I think the nice weather is here to stay for a couple of days anyways. Hope you had a fantastic weekend!

  5. Yay for mini dates! I was just thinking it has been FOREVER since we have had a date night. I am loving the garden photos. I am really going to miss mine this year :(.

    1. You should plant a tomato in a pot so you can still take it with you when your home sells. 🙂 Mini dates are the best! We haven’t had one in forever so this was a nice surprise! Hope you had a great weekend Beth!
