Friday Favorites

Friday Favorites {3/17/17}

Happy Friday and Happy St. Patrick’s Day. We are wearing our green today and hoping to find some luck. Also, we are looking forward to a fun-filled weekend. We had a great week as well, here are my favorites…

Sunshine! Yesterday was beautiful. I came home from work, opened the windows and cleaned, then I took in some excellent views on a walk after dinner. It was so nice to take in the sunshine, and those white dots on the mountains, that is actually Big Horn Sheep. I love when they start coming down from the mountains because that means spring is in the air and summer is around the corner. One of those is a huge ram.

Just some more pretty mountain views and sunshine!

My uncle Myrt (my great grandpa’s brother) turned 100 this week. He still drives himself to his bowling league! He was also on the Smukers during The Today Show. It was fun to see him on there.

Last weekend I picked up these trays from WalMart. Each one was under $10! I plan on using one inside and around the house, and one for outside for eating, s’mores, drinks, plates, and more. I thought they were super cute and I wanted couldn’t decide between the rounded or the square so I grabbed both while they were in stock.

Just a little St. Paddy’s Day humor…

St Patrick's Day

I like my coffee like I like my men, irish, strong, and with a little cream:

Tomorrow this little lady turns 9!!! We will be celebrating her again this weekend and I cannot wait!

We are having a little family fun night tonight with my mom and sister, we have t-ball and soccer tomorrow, and Brandon’s family is coming into town. We have a fun-filled weekend ahead. I hope you all have a great weekend!

  1. Happpppppy birthday sweet little red head! I’m guessing there is some Irish blood lines going on there? Wow on the 100th birthday! That is such a blessing! The views around your home are breathtaking! I know you guys will have a great weekend 🙂 (LOVE the Green Eggs & Ham cartoon!!!) xo

    1. To say we were SHOCKED to have a red head would be the greatest understatement in the world! Hahaha! And yes, 100! My great-grandpa lived until he was 103 and I have a 96 year old great grandma as well. Happy Friday Amanda! P.S…the push ups are killing me!

    1. Happy Friday Jessica! We are in store for a great weekend around here. I hope you survived your first week back from spring break…next up summer! Happy weekend friend!

    1. I love the mountains to Britt! They are the best. I love how green they are right now, because during the summer they quickly turn to brown, but they are beautiful right now. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

  2. You know “9” is a lucky number with it being my last name and all, lol!! Happy birthday to your sweet angel!! Yay for sunshine, St. Patty’s fun and have the BEST weekend!!

  3. So cool to she him on T.V.! I hope he had the best birthday. I have a VERY similar tray to the rectangle one that I grabbed at Walmart a year ago and I use it all the time. It is perfect to put cookies on or to transport warm casseroles in too. I just throw a few hot pads in the bottom and voila!

    1. I love the idea of transporting meals and adding cookies to the tray. I have already used both in a couple of different ways. They have come in so handy. Thanks for stopping by!
