I thought I would share our meal plan for the coming week with you all on Sundays. My typical week includes meal planning and grocery shopping on Saturday or a Sunday because I despise going during the week after work. Here is a look at our week.
Sunday: Grilled steaks and baked potatoes with a side salad (recipe coming next Saturday)
Monday: Cheesy Tortellini Soup, homemade bread.
Tuesday: Crescent French dip sandwiches and a side salad.
I wrap roast beef (from the deli) in a crescent roll with a little deli slice of Provalone or swiss cheese and bake at 350 for 15 minutes. I serve with Au Jus and a side salad.
Wednesday: Ranch pork chops in the crock pot with grilled carrots.
For this I buy thick cut pork chops, pour one can of cream of chicken soup and ranch dressing mix over the pork chops and cook on low for four to five hours.
For the carrots, I wash and place them on a cookie sheet lined with foil. I give a little EVOO drizzle over the top and sprinkle the tiniest bit of salt on top. I grill on high for 15 minutes. I love using a variety of carrots for this side dish. My kids also love eating the purple carrots.
Thursday: Left overs.
Friday: Out to eat
Dessert: This week I have two potlucks so I am making cherry cheesecake dip with cookies and crackers (boxed) to dip in.
